The Maga Skymarathon, the competition across the breathtaking peaks of Val Serina, which took place on Sunday, 3 September, met all expectations. The 15th edition of this event involved 400 runners despite numerous concurrent competitions. Out of these 400 runners, 148 eagerly took on the challenging 39-kilometre marathon, featuring a demanding 3000-metre elevation gain, while the remaining 244 opted for the 24-kilometre “sky” race, which offered a still formidable 1400-metre altitude difference.
Cristian Minoggio (Dinamo) and Giulia Saggin (Altitude) won on the difficult mountain climbs of Menna, Arera, Grem, and Alben. They both won the Italian marathon in the Fisky category as well. Cristian crossed the finish line in an impressive 4h39’51”, securing a commanding lead over Luca Arrigoni (Pegarun - 4h58’37”) and Danilo Brambilla (Falchi Lecco - 5h07’13”). Following closely behind in the top five were Moreno Sala (Gruppo Escursionisti Falchi Olginatesi) and Luca Carrara (Altitude). In the women's category, Saggin displayed absolute dominance, completing the race in 5h57’53”, firmly ahead of Elisa Pallini (Pegarun - 6h02’29”) and Daniela Rota (Scott - 6h14’35”). Roberta Jacquin (Pegarun) and Marta Vigano (Runaway Milano A.S.D) secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
Losma, with its commitment to sports and wellbeing, participated in the event by supplying an inflatable arch that served as the race's starting point.
Until the next edition!

LOSMA, a leading company in the design and construction of air and liquid filtration systems for the mechanical engineering industry and machine tools, will be in Germany at the EMO Hannover trade fair, which will take place from 18 to 23 September 2023, Hall 6 - Stand F24. For this year's International Machine Tool Exhibition, Losma will showcase a curated selection of its 2023 innovations, highlighting the finest products from its air and liquid filtration range.
Losma’s latest air filtration products:
Pegaso L is the latest static filter unit for purifying oil mists, micro-mists and smoke from using coolants (emulsion or neat oil). It can be used on all types of machine tools and for all removal operations.
Liquid coolant filtration systems:
Micro Master 200 is a product from the Master range of high-efficiency, gravity-operated, high-flow coolant lubricant purifiers using non-woven fabric as the filter medium. It has an effortless operation and offers stable, consistent performance over time. This type of filter is particularly suitable for heavy-duty machining and machining with light alloys (aluminium, brass). It's also ideal for applications using neat oils and continuous 24-hour machining operations.
Spring F1 is a self-cleaning drum filtration system with a fixed metal filter cloth suitable for removing magnetic and non-magnetic particles from neat and emulsified oils. Drum filtration efficiency can be customised according to customer requirements.
This year, at EMO Hannover 2023 (hall 6 - stand F24), Losma will present a simulation of the first Green Factory Life and a video showing how Losma’s centralised system purifies and sanitises the factory’s air.
